For those of you whom I've not had the opportunity to meet, I'm Larry Ellison, CEO of West One Financial Group and President of eDocs-Express LLC which we recently formed to provide lenders an economic and convenient way to manage their loan documentation needs.

Acting Comptroller of the Currency Julie L. Williams. We've been impressed for some time by Julie Williams, who became Acting Comptroller on October 14, 2004, succeeding John D. Hawke, Jr. at the end of his term of office. Ms. Williams had been Chief Counsel of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency since June 1994.

In recent years, Ms. Williams has been making a number informative speeches, usually urging practical application of the many rules and regulations facing banks. On January 12, 2005 in a speech before Women in Housing Finance and The Exchequer Club, Acting Comptroller Williams urged a new approach to consumer disclosures. Probably like many of us, she thinks consumers are getting too much information to make disclosures meaningful and understandable.
